TNPSC Group 1 Preparation
TNPSC Group 1 is the Commission's most demanding examination, recruiting for senior Tamil Nadu state posts including Deputy Collector and Deputy Superintendent of Police. It runs in three stages: a preliminary objective paper of 200 questions carrying 300 marks, of which 175 are General Studies and 25 are Aptitude; a descriptive main written stage of several papers including a Tamil eligibility paper; and an interview carrying 100 marks. The main stage is where most serious aspirants are separated, because it tests written articulation rather than recognition — a skill that objective revision alone never builds.
